My 722 wouldn't power on yesterday morning, so I did a plugin reset. After a few minutes, it finally booted and everything was ok. Till I turned it off and the problem started all over again. Talked to Dish tech last night and she wouldn't authorize a replacement, because there was nothing wrong with it. Well, it completely died this morning. It whirls and runs like it wants to boot up, but never comes on. Contacted Dish tech support again. Asked for some values in the system info/details screen. She said it was fried. Sending me a replacement. Costing me $14.95 for shipping. Dish's online tech support has been down for the last 24 hours. I wonder if the latest software update has anything to do with the receiver croaking?
