Android Smart Box - how do I?

The box is a Vigica C90S running Android 4.4.2. This is a combo streaming/FTA (DTV) box. There is a main menu that displays 4 icons; DTV, Kodi, Apps, and Settings. However, on bootup, a few seconds after that menu appears it goes dark and DTV starts up automatically. Is there a way to stop DTV from auto starting? I would prefer the box boot to, and stay on, the main menu.

Well it's become a moot point, it bricked last night. I was in DTV and hit the Exit button to back out of the menu and the box just shut down and now won't turn on. The red power light comes on but that's it. I unplugged it overnight but it still won't turn on. Contrary to some posts I've read there is no Reset button. The A/V hole is just that, a hole, no button buried in there. Bummer.
