Anybody know anything about a crawl on American Movie Classics saying "If you don't want to lose your AMC call 1-800 ***-****"? Is Dish about to "renegotiate" another contract?

Doesn't Echostar own some of Rainbow Media (for Voom) which owns AMC? It doesn't really make sense for there to be a carriage issue.

I don't understand that either. If there was a carriage issue, it would also be affecting the other channels under Rainbow (Voom, IFC, Fuse, and...ACK!!...WE)

He did ask if DISH was renegotiating contract... so I would assume it is Dish Network...

Anybody know anything about a crawl on American Movie Classics saying

The C Band analog feed is being discontinued on Aug 31. Cable/satellite DBS companies must sign up (& install the necessary PowerVu decoders) to receive the PowerVu digital feed.

Same process starts for IFC and WE on Oct 4
