According to http://home.businesswire.com/portal...d=news_view&newsId=20041011005155&newsLang=en, those are analog feeds so you need an analog-capable receiver to see them. Just a heads up.

There was nothing on Dish 101 or on AMC-9 DBS.

So I also noticed. And I don't like RealPlayer and Windows Media Player. The streaming site's "system test" shows QuickTime which I do have, yet they didn't have a QT stream. So no coverage for me. :river

They had other content and history along with the launch. It was kewl. I guess there will be more info tonight around 11:30-11:45 PM CT (12:45AM ET) when it goes into its geosyncronous orbit.

Yeah, I just ended up writing me a Perl script that Grep'ed the craft's current coordinates and trajectory once per minute from ILS's Solaris servers, tabulating and dumping into GNUPlot for realtime graphical display while cat'ting the frames off into an animation file to be converted into a 7 hour MPEG file as the last operation of the script. That stopped them tears from flowin'.
