Am I missing something, where did the edit icon go??

I submitted a response to a thread but forgot to add a link, so I went to edit it but I didn't see an edit icon on my post. Did something change?

Here's what I'm seeing when I look at one of my posts, the edit icon is missing from the left of the quote icon

OK, thanks, I see that my response was in the operations forum and that Scott had turned off edit.
