HBO is airing a 2 part special "The Alzheimer's Project." They are sending it unscrambled, so those that do not subscribe can still watch it. Dish appears to be passing it on unscrambled, as I have been able to set my DVR for it off HBO HD, and I'm not an HBO subscriber. I suspect DirecTV is also passing it on.
Part 1 is tonight at 9, part 2 is Monday at 7:30 and/or Tuesday at 7. All p.m. There are other showings; I recommend recording more than one instance since it appears that part 2 on Monday is listed as 30 mins long and 60 mins long on Tuesday. Maybe part 2 is in two parts? Yesterday's Washington Post is rather confusing on the matter.
Over half the population is involved in some way with people who have Alzheimer's. I know there are several of us here that fall into this caregiver category, directly or indirectly. There is never enough information available on this topic, so this production is certainly a public service to us all.
THANK YOU HBO AND SATCOs FOR LETTING THIS PROGRAM GET MAXIMUM EXPOSURE.
