Hi, looking for some alternate CS numbers to call. Its actually for my brother, so far my service has been great! He has been having some reception issues and hasn't had the best luck with the main 888 number. I've seen people mentioning executive support and other ways of getting through, if anyone can post or PM me some alternate numbers I would really appriecate it. Thanks!

Yeah, I can understand not posting those. I was going to go over and give them a call since I know a little more about whats happening. He moved over a year ago and has had reception problems since he got there. The installer they sent (through the Dish Mover plan) basicly pointed the dish into a tree! He wants to get one of the new HD packs and a 622 but needs to have full reception on 110 and 119. He'd like them to come out and move the dish. He didn't know it would be a problem initally since it was done in the fall. I'll try calling and ask for customer retention or something and see if they will do anything.

by the way it's 800-333-3474, not 888-

for issues where normal CSR's can't get anything done we normally recommend a polite, detailed email to ceo@echostar.com including a good callback number where you can be reached.

Just because it looks like its pointed at a tree, doesn't mean it is :)

These dishes are offset and have a 22-24 degrees look angle. So the signal comes at 22 degrees higher than what the LNB looks like

:heart i love them i think they do try! off subject but, i was trying to look at a sat through a telescope. when you say look angle is 25 deg i would add the reflectors angle (for me its 45deg) giving a true beam angle of say 70-75deg from the horizon???i really don't think people realize how high in the sky they are at least for us in the southern USA.:hatsoff:

Well we actually had good luck with 1st level tech support. They are coming out thurs to try to move the dish and he was able to get a couple credits out of it. Thanks for all the suggestions guys!
