A couple of weeks ago I decided to give VOOM a try. I was, and am, uphappy with D since I have been unable to get an 811 receiver, I've been waiting almost 3 months now - after they had told me they would have the receivers by the first week of May.
Anyway, I give VOOM a call and they give me a June 15 installation date. I have seen the many installation horror stories posted on this website but I assumed that these were the exceptions.
Well today I get an e-mail saying that my installation date has been changed to July 14, a full month later than the originally scheduled date. I think this is ridiculous.
You know, I'm just getting tired of all the BS and I think I will just cancel Dish and the VOOM order and re-subscribe to Time Warner cable. They may be a little more expensive but at least you know what you're getting and when you're getting it.
