WBRE-DT and WYOU-DT went full power just before 8pm this evening and in 1080i. WYOU had CBD HD on the air at 8pm and WBRE-DT will follow with NBC HD at 10pm.
These are 30kw VHF's and blast in where I am, 10 miles from the towers. This is stronger than the high power UHF's. Since VHF propagates easier, it takes less power.
