Aljazeera English on 97.0W

If you watch Aljazeera English on satellite 97.0 W Galaxy 19, but you don't visit it frequently, here is an update for you.

This channel has moved to TP 26 @ 12.152 GHz Horizontal with SR 20.000 and FEC of 3/4.

It is still broadcast on TP 11.998 H, but effective June 1st this service will be switched off.

For my Coolsat 5K reception of this channel, the signal quality on 11.998 has changed and is now showing 66%, but the new TP location is showing 87%. I am just guessing, but maybe the 11.998 TP is experiencing some problem and is going to be shut down. ???

I also wonder if they are shutting down transponders to up the power on other that are doing better/ have less interference.

They've been moving channels around alot. They fired up a new transponder a couple monthsd ago and have been moving channels. A few transponders had issues and there were chanenls lost for about a week.

Use to have a TP at 11716 V but that is gone and was replaced with (I think) 12059 H

What is going on with G19 12177 (tr27)?

Does this transponder (Ku 12177v #27) exist or is there a SYMBOL RATE issue. 23000 does not work at all. I was wondering if I got some incorrect info on it or do I have a retarded box... Has anyone else had this problem? Also 11.836 has been turned off and the channels have moved.

Oh as a former Echostar (Dish Network) employee an inside word is that Charlie wants you to pay for tv. Fta is his enemy and what he charges for intl tv is outragous. Just think what the charge is for the Arabic pack... About $40 plus basic domestic tv. Its sad to say this, but there is a sucker born every day.

It was replaced with 12059H those channels are located there now.

I just tried scanning these TPs and I was able to get 10 and 14 TV channels on each one respectively.

11.836 V SR 20.770

12.177 V SR 22.997

Ok, Im really confused!!!

Im still having problems with those two tp's. SR is correct... Polarity is correct. Is there 2 KU satellites in that orbital position (G25/G19/T5 Ku), or is the box a retard???
The 12152 tp works fine and recently the 11836 worked until it was shut off..
The only reason I want 12177 is SOAC tv. The ex has an 8yr old who watches that and i am TIRED of moving a rooftop tv antenna for a UHF DTV feed (CH 20.5) of that (dont forget girly whining). Since the tx location is 87.50 miles away that is no fun either (Digital Cliff).
Any ideas or help will and gladly be appreciated. I have been stumped on that one stinking TP and this is bothering me.
