Your Dish may very well be pointed about 9 degrees too far east, picking up 110 on the 119 lnb and the 110 lnb is looking at 101 where there is nada for Dish.
Cover the left (looking from behind the dish) lnb with aluminum foul and try to find 110 with the right lnb. Once found, remove the foil and 119 should be there.
This is all assuming that the pole is absolutely vertical and skew set by the book.
I am also assuming you have an lnb head with 2 "eyes".
If yours has three "eyes" cover the left and center ones and search for 110 with the right lnb.
The reflection off the dish reverses the order of satellites to their lnb, left to right they are 129, 119, 110.
When switching from one sat to the other, you should not have to move the dish. Cover the outer two lnb's and find 119 using the Dish parameters for tour particular type of dish. For all satellites at one location NEVER change the skew. Dish finder is for after the skew is set by the parameters for your dish and location. What are you using for your reference source? You should use the tables from the Dish Network installation guide for your particular dish, looking up your location by zip code. I have attached the Installation guide for the Dish 1000.2. Page 10 is where the tables begin. If I use dish finder and set it for 110( el 41.21, sk 9.22, at 192.37) I can get 110 but no locals. If I use dish finder and set it for 119(el38.8, sk 18.51, az wp205.11) I can get 119. If I use what dish network says for my zip I get nothing.(el 38, sk109, as 196). I amusing th 3 eye lnb. Could it be the skew? The pole is plumb
Yes, that's how it worksFinally! Thank you, one more question,. If I have two Wally’s can I run a second cable for it to port 2 on the dish lnb?
