uhhhhhhh... you may want to post this in the regular D* forum..
I have been wondering though if any XXX HD channels would be launching anytime in the near future. I don't watch porn (to me its like forcing a starving child watch a family eat thanksgiving dinner) but I'd love to see postings here of people raving about the great MPEG4 PQ of some crazy sounding movie. ;p
It reminds me of the wet counties vs the dry counties for sale of alcohol. We used to not be able to buy mixed drinks in Nederland but next door in Pt.Arthur you could. So the Hwy 365 was the line that cut both cities apart. So you could go across the hwy and go directly to the mall and hit a Mexican resteraunt and have margaritas all you like. Then drive back across the street and go to dry Nederland. Thank God the voters finally allowed mixed drinks in Nederland so this hypocrisy wouldn't keep going on.
But in regards to Porn , I have another stupid story. When you used to be able to watch Little Rock, Arkansas locals on conus beam , I "moved" to a town that could get them since my family was all from there. ONce they turned them on I tried to watch Xtsy channel -which shows money shots. Black screen with a locked out message resulted. I called DISH and they said I couldn't see adult movies in Arkansas. Well needless to say we "moved" back to Texas the next day.
But in regards to Porn , I have another stupid story. If you read the bottom of the channel lineup that was left when the install was done it will list that there are certain areas where the "adult stations" are not available.
The funny thing, at least to me, about this is that on the list is Hamilton County. I used to live in Cincinnati which is in Hamilton County and you cannot get them there. One county out of an entire state. But this goes back to the day of Larry Flint and Simon Leis. Glad I moved, not because I want the stations but because the idea of a single county being blocked from adults being able to watch what they want seems a bit absurd to me.
BTW according to the disclaimer on the bottom of the list ClubJenna, HustlerTV and PlayboyTV are not available in: Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Utah and Hamilton County, Ohio.

This is funny that N.C. won't allow it, since they are home to one of the biggest porn companies in the nation. ( Adam& Eve)
The viewing of dancers and actual X rated content on TV is different in their eyes; but don't think they haven't been trying (and continue to) try and remove clubs.
Utah is at least one of the notorious 7 and its not in the bible belt; thusly a close majority of the bible belt states DO ALLOW the channels.
I beleive there are 7 states that issue X rated TV blackouts: (please correct me)
1. Utah
2. Mississippi
3. Tennessee
4. Alabama
5. North Carolina
6. ?? South Carolina
7. ?? Arkansas
