Due to my LOS issue for the 2nd motorized system (can't see west of 114), I decided to put a DBS LNB up for 119 (and NASA). Now I had a couple options.

-put it next to the dish I have for G10…but that would require a 25-30 foot run
-put it on the StarChoice Dish

Now since SC is at 107.3 & 111.1, this seemed the easiest. So I set up my T and Dish Network "test" rig (test as in getting signal..not stealing :D Heck, It' an old 5000) and climbed on the roof

Well, in less than 2 minutes I had a signal of 102 on the 5000 (only spotbeams get this high on the old meters). So I wedged a piece of wood (maybe ½" wide or so), ran a 10 foot wire to the open port and voila, Dish audio at a 99 signal. Best I could get on a 30" doing this was a 85-90. This is a solid 99..must be the bigger dish
