Add The CW to PTAT

Since the CW channel is not on the same transponder as the "big 4" (HD, eastern arc), then it would be technically impossible.

I think the real question is how many coherent spots can be sent from one transponder?
Is it really limited to 4 or could there be 5 or 6?
Granted the ordering of channels on the transponders would require work.
I'm sure if one town got that then everyone would want it.

It's not a matter of how many they can fit into one transponder. I think the primary Atlanta spot has 8, maybe 9 channels. The real question is can hopper demux more than 4 simultaneously? If not, is it a hardware limitation - demux chip only supports 4 streams - or an arbitrary limit set by Dish for performance? Either way, I doubt we'll ever see more than four.

I believe JM42 has nailed it. I base this belief on the amount of PTAT space given back with a firmware refresh, which is too small to contain the whole transponder.

Yeah, I've never believed the Hopper recorded the whole transponder since the day I got it. Even without taking drive space into consideration, it just doesn't behave as if it is.
