Add new satellites to a Pansat 3500sd

What's the Process to add new satellites to the installation setup list? Do you have to upgrade the firmware first?

nope...no need to upgrade

go to antenna install
then down to edit satellite/tp
scroll down to end and you should be able to add a new satellite. Or if you are going to be KU band only, you can rename one of the C-Band satellites.
