I've got to replace the actuator arm on my 10' Unimesh dish. Gonna give it a go at doing it myself and I want to buy the best arm for the money. Right now I'm looking at a 24" Von Wiese unit for $169. Is this a good arm/deal or should I be looking at something else? I use the dish for what's left of C-Band analog, Ku band, and FTA.

Thomson Saginaw is the best for my money. I`ve had one on my 10` dish for 15 years and it`s still working without a problem. The company is also a long term leader in precision motion control in the machine tool industry.

That is a very stable arm.

Thanks for the replies guys. Guess I'm gonna go with the Von Wiese.
