How can I guestimate the exact LOS path for my dish install. I've done a lot of reading and watch the install videos so I kinda have an idea whats going on.

I understand that the angle of the signal comes in slightly elevated and then is reflected out to the feed horn. How do I tell the angle it is coming in at? I think this will help me get an idea of where to put my dish to avoid tree interference.
Thanks

If you have the receiver set up, the info is in the menu. There are websites with the info, also. A google search will lead you to them.

Once you get the angle needed for you area, get a paper towel tube and go stand where you plan to install the dish. Then look thru the tube at the angle needed. If you see blue sky you have a clear line of site.
