Activation for Travel Trailer

I have a 5 year old Dish System Model 3000 which I purchased new and never activated. I would like to mount the antenna on a tripod and use the system in our travel trailer as we travel about the US.
My questions are:
1. Will Dish activate the system?? I am the registered owner.
2. What locals will I be eligible to receive??
3. What is the minimum service I must subscribe to in order to receive locals?
4. What documentation is required to obtain this service for my intended use?

A1: Yes.
A2: Probably none (spotbeam issues), but with an RV waiver, distant networks should be available.
A3: Good question.
A4: Probably nothing more than the vehicle registration.

NOTE: You don't say what you've got for the house, but if you've never been an E* customer, you might be able to get yourself a NEW, MODERN receiver as part of the deal - maybe even a DVR!
