ABC-HD,FOX-HD,CBS-HD Question

I've been reading on Direct TV adding ABC,NBC,CBS and FOX in HD to their channel line up. I live on Hilton Head Island, SC and have Voom. I can only pick up NBC here via OTA. My signal isn't strong enough to get anything else. If I got D* would I be able to ABC,NBC,CBS and FOX in HD or do I have to live in a big city like NY and LA?
