According to this mornings' SKYREPORT:

COMPETITIVE WATCH: FCC Axes VOOM Complaint - The Media Bureau at the Federal Communications Commission approved the withdrawal of a program access complaint filed by Rainbow DBS against cable pay-per-view/video-on-demand provider In-Demand. Rainbow controls VOOM, and alleged that In-Demand violated federal rules when the programmer refused to negotiate with the satellite TV service for carriage of its INHD1 and INHD2 high def channels. VOOM is set for shut down at the end of the week.

why go to battle someone else's fight now that they are out of the DBS business. Let D* and E* fight their own fight with IN-DEMAND. Again (aside from everything else), this could have benefited all of us who want INHD on DBS. I wouldn't expect INHD on DBS for years unless DBS providers are willing to pay lots of money for them.

Not that it matters, but INHD has just redesigned their website and removed the ONLY ON CABLE tag that was all over the site.

VOOM Programming beyond May 1st?
