So scrounging around the interwebs ;) I ran across this. The MeTV schedule (back when it was just a local Chicago station) is touting its January 1, 2007 schedule.

Notes...
-there was no AntennaTV at the time (launched 2011)...I say that because lots of those shows are/were on AntennaTV now
-this was a CHICAGO ONLY STATION (the MeTV national version launched in 2010).

The "Mary Tyler Moore" house is currently up for sale in Minneapolis.

Looking at that past schedule, I personally prefer the current schedule, because it has a more balanced B&W to 70's programming. I'm LOVING Antenna TV here in Pittsburgh. In the morning I can watch The Three Stooges, Hazel, Jack Benny, Burns & Allen, Mr. Ed, etc. and in the evenings I get to enjoy favorites such as Mr. Belvedere, Too Close For Comfort, All In The Family, Family Ties, One Day at a Time, etc.

Interesting how coming upon 9 years later some of these shows are STILL on MeTV

See when us older folks, the ones with CRS, watch a show on Monday, we can watch the same show on Tuesday and not remember it, like we never saw it before. A day later, all TV shows are new again.

One of the few benefits of getting older.

Interesting...I didn't realize MeTV was that old! By far, my favorite of the OTA stations.
according to Wiki the actual MeTV station (WWME Chicago) started MeTv back in 03 as a "block format" (for a few hours a day) and went full time in 05.

The original RETROTV (RTV) was very good at the time. Bo still sits by my TV ready to watch the next classic TV show.

I agree, I think RTV was great when they had the NBC library, and shows like Marcus Welby MD, Ironside, Rockford Files, Kojak, among others, ......

My local CBS affiliate used to broadcast RTV on one of their sub-channels before they changed over to Antenna TV in 2011. It did have a pretty good line-up years ago. I guess after the other classic TV broadcasters overtook them and grabbed up their share of the shows, RTV had to contend with the scraps that were left over.

KCHF-DT is only carry 3 subchannels

KCTV-TV, Ch. 5 in Kansas City, MO launches new subchannel
