920 questions

I was the successful bidder on a gently used 920 on Ebay to experiment with. I do not have a BUD but have a 1.2 meter dish with which I can get VCII lock and a decent VCII picture on several sats. Does anyone know if it's possible to slave the 920 to a DVB box for DCII Ku. Also does anyone know if you can play with the LO setting to use say a linear Ku LNBF.

You will not be able to subscibe to any of the Ku-band programming, though you should be able to get the free feeds, if the maps hold on the memory while in shipping, and if the battery is not dead.
Best to look for a used big dish and pop it up
