well those 2 stations were pulled last night...these replacements are only for Lafayette, IN and Zanesville, OH where the now pulled station was imported

Interesting how they picked WNKY.2 from Bowling Green, KY. I wonder if someone at dish was thinking the station was from Bowling Green, OH when originally picked... I would think Cleveland or Wheeling, WV or even the new CBS station in Parkersburg, WV would be more appropriate.

The CBS in Parkersburg I dont think is uplinked yet.....and doesnt go live until the 3rd

looking at it its real simple.....on the Zanesville spotbeam is Bowling Green and Columbus....so that is probably why. Just a remap is all that was needed

So will the new FOX be up on DISH or will that have to be uplinked too. I'm only asking because the guide information my DISH EPG is giving for FOX turns to Pinpoint Weather at 5am EST Monday Morning. Which makes sense because the current FOX feed on 15.2 becomes Pinpoint Weather.

hmmmmm......good question

I dont think they have to reuplink the new channel (22-1). I'm sure WTAP worked with them to do a smooth transition but ya never know honestly. Looking at the above Dish switched the ABC feed in Tupelo, MS when WKDH went off the air on 8/31 and WTVA added ABC as a subchannel. There was no uplink that we saw...just a changeover of a channel name

But the guide info is the issue since the station is changing from Fox to weather.

Its a unique situation honestly. I dont remember the last time a subchannel went to a totally different main channel
