It was a matter of convenience since I had it already, complete with a heavy-duty azimuth motor serving as the most expensive mast base holder one could come up with. Originally, I had thought that motor could tweak the mast/dish in azimuth, but it's easier to loosen bolts and move the dish assembly by hand if ever necessary. The best part is I can "re-verticalize" the mast by shoving thin wood shims under the appropriate tower leg. A good day is like yesterday when I got the leveling bubble perfect in all directions. And then it plays wonderfully.That tripod looks pretty cool
