I just let my 811 download ver 380. I didn't see any posts on this. Has anyone heard of v 380 problems or improvements?

Nope, he's right. There's a new version P3.80, so E* jumped from P3.39 to P3.80.
06/21/006: 1343 Software Version P3.80 for DP811
Effective Thursday, June 22nd, Engineering plans to spool a PARTIAL PHASE of software version P3.80 for the DP811 receiver. This is primarily a non-forced maintenance release available at ALL satellite locations.
At this time P3.38, P3.39, and P3.80 will be the valid software versions for the DP811.
