This afternoon I turn on my old 811 in the bedroom, and when I switch channels, it goes downhill quickly.
It starts hunting satellites on any channel and can't seem to connect to any of the sats. I tried a soft reboot, got the same thing once it restarted. Tried another soft reboot followed by a check switch. Now, when the check switch finishes it shows "all" for 61.5, then "odd" for 110 & 119. Again, still no channels come in and searches for 110 or 119 come up empty. I unplugged for a few minutes, then tried another check switch with same results and still no channels.
My 622 and 311 are both working fine, so I assume that the DPP44 is still fine and the old 811 is kicking (or kicked) the bucket.
Any other ideas to get it cranking again? I was planning to upgrade to a 211 in the fall, trying to hold out till the end of baseball season, since I've "moved" for the summer.
