811 no longer available thru Dish w/o buying HDTV in a box?

I cancelled my HDTV system after I found a local retailer had 20 811's in stock and Dish would not try to get one from him so they could install it with my tv. They said they had the TV's in stock but they would not even contact the retailer to see if they could make a deal with him on the reciever. According to Dish all the retailers ordered and got their 811's and that is why Dish ran out. Dish would not let me get the $999 deal from a retailer so I told them to just cancel my order.
