I came home from a weekend outing yesterday (Sunday) and found that my 722K would not boot. It would stall while finishing a download of the program guide. After about 2 hours of attempting hard restarts (unplugging) I gave up and called Dish. A transfer to "advanced Technical Service" resulted in the diagnosis of a bad hard drive and a new unit was scheduled for delivery. I turned on the unit this morning and it worked!
I suspect the early Sunday morning auto update had happened the same time as the time change back to CST and the unit got "confused".
Did anyone else have this problem??
