722 HDMI HD versus Upscaled HD

If you're connected with HDMI, TV always says 1920x1080i for both HD and SD channels.

How do you make sure the content is actual HD and not upscaled SD? For those with smaller HDTV sets where it isn't obvious?

The TV is telling you the truth. The 722 upscales 480p/i, 720p and 1440X1080i to 1920X1080i or 720p or whatever you have the output set for.

622, 222, 411 and 211 do the same thing.
