just got this replacement 722 this past thursday and now it has rebooted 3 times in the past 20 minutes, should i be concerned? waiting on fedex to come tommorrow to pick up the one that has been replaced, all am doing is watching live tv

Was the previous receiver doing the same thing? Did Dish just send you a replacement receiver or did a tech come out? Random rebooting is not normal. Where is the receiver located? Excessive operating temperature can cause problems. Not as likely is an electrical problem or grounding issue.

no the problem with it was that the tv 2 sound would go out, doesn't do that now. just sent a replacement and it hasnt been shipped back yet, fedex suppose to get it tommorrow. located on a tv stand, there are three platforms, its on the bottom and the tv is on the top. i talked to dish about it and they say its my internet doing it, i did all the troubleshooting they told me and everything checked out as far as the internet goes, i don't see what it has to with internet in the first place

Perhaps obvious, disconnect the ethernet and phone line and all but your main TV. Does it still reboot? If not connect one or two and wait again. You should be able to find the troublesome item.

Do you have a ground block installed? It would be between the Dish and the rcvr location, typically at your meter box, breaker box, water pipe in the basement, copper braid....if so, go unhook the ground. Sometimes that can cause exactly what you are claiming. Why it didnt do that on the old rcvr is weird, but that may have also been your tv2 issue. Its worth trying (and easy to do)
