I have an Echostar 7200 that was working just fine until
a power surge wiped something out. The receiver
reported that it was receiving signal just fine, all the diagnostics
showed as 'ok', we could get the severals days of programming
guide downloaded, but when we tried to move from the 'home'
screen to an actual channel, it would make the TV screen flash once or twice, and then proceed to reboot itself. We just couldn't get it on to any
channels. I tried getting Dish Nutwork to transfer the new
yellow card to my old 3900 (back out of the closet) and they
couldn't do it. (I tried 2 CSR's, and a couple of technical
CSR's too...)
So, we removed the hard drive to put to use elsewhere.
7200 Echostar receiver, no hard drive, won't switch to
channels, remote & keyboard, married yellow card....
$20 + shipping. Let me know if you are interested.
