We upgraded a 7200 with a 120 G hard drive, and were very happy
with it. Until recent wind storms caused a power-spike. First it
would just try to dial up MSN and start a download. The phone dial
in kept dropping, and resuming it, we would get to file 39 go to file 63,
and then back to file 39. Never finishing the download.
So a call to Dishnetwork, and they gave the codes to do an actual
reboot. It tooks its download from satellite, but when trying to actually
go to a channel, it just forces a reboot.
Any ideas? Hints? Suggestions?
Can customers actually purchase 522's now--from say ebay, and get
them activated on their account (assuming the 522 account and receiver
are actually clear)? A few years ago I was told you could **ONLY**
rent a 522.
