71.8 - Anything to see?

Just wondering if there is anything to see on 71.8? Kinda bored and saw it mentioned on another thread.

I got the universal Lnb, never got anything on 71.8 to the best of my knowledge

I scanned it a bit until Ice replied, then I canceled the scan. I am blind scanning all the birds today. I am going to try to do this more often

Here in New Mexico, I get about 4 to 7 channels from South America and Central America depending on the feed traffics!

Some are raw sports feeds "mostly soccer and basketball" and bunch of church Spanish channels and Gov't from Vez, acting like Cuba wanabees state TV broadcaster.

I get mostly NTSC with some PAL videos.

The Freqs, ranges 11.4 GHz to 11.7 GHz on V only.

Thanks to my New Mexico Satelitte Man, he did a great job on peaking the dish resulting some S.A. stations went from upper 40 to low 90's!

Ok as N5XZS stated , yes there are feeds and some regular channels , I took screen shots of the 4 regular channels just minutes ago.

Chicago ,Illinois
Temp outside: 48 F. and overcast
Dish size : Fortec 90cm
LNB: Invacom SNH-031

Again , these channels disappear by Summer , and I know that I am not in the intended footprint ,quality can be marginal with pixelation occuring.

Heres the footprint , looking at the EIRP , you definitely need a larger dish further North, very nice pic from Lyngsat.
