... and away they go ...

Not necessarily likely to watch the (not really) replacement channels, either.

What I could use is a price break. Or Superstations in HD. :deadhorse:
Sorry, I just needed to throw that in there.

They could go ahead and add Fearnet, for all I care. Just quit playing us for chumps already and stop putting us in the middle of all this bullshart.

... and I hope the ratings hit kills AMC Networks. Serves them right.

see y'all AMC Networks owned networks, see you when the lawsuit ends, which will be the day hell freezes over, pigs start flying and the Chicago Cubs win the World Series

Question is dish going to drop Disney next?

Time will tell and with Charlies its a possibilty but if he drops Disney he would have to drop the espn and that will really cost him customers so I doubt he will do that with Disney

i wouldn't put anything past charlie (he dropped CBS and all its viacom cable channels at one time)

I will say that one of my Dish Pass timers picked up a title on HDNMV, while none of my Dish Pass timers ever picked up anything on AMC. So it looks like I gained something, lol

I don't watch Disney or ESPN either but I know of many people that do. We are paying for it so even though I am not watching it, my bill either needs to drop or they need to make up for it somehow.

I'll bet you watch a few channels, or many, that I don't watch. I'm paying for yours, maybe it's all right if you pay for mine... ;)

I don't think they'll let Disney go because of ESPN, but we've got a DVR and really the only thing my lil' girl watches is the new Doc McStuffins so, record 'em and ext HD them until it comes back... if the Viacom thing happened again though, she'd be lost w/o Nick JR, but again, we only let her watch so much... we'll just go outside and play...

Wife is a little disappointed about WE, but she just shrugged her shoulders when I told her about AMC wanting more $$ from Dish, but sold rights to the streaming services... she said it should be a push... same $$ from Dish, extra from the streamers... It's only TV & I know we've lost channels for the $$ we pay, for now... contract says service can change w/o notice... I'm not happy, but alternatives that compare to Dish just aren't available here. Our local cable company is struggling to support digital channels, have ZERO HD on the lines, Direct will not sell me my locals, and things such as FIOS and others are AWOL out here in the sticks. I have a PS3, but streaming HD is a no-go on 3Mb DSL so phooey on the streamers... I'll just wait, not a big fan of ALL scary movies, but maybe we'll get something like FearNet, who knows???

Just a question to all of those wanting to jump ship because of Dish fighting over price increases... If this was still the '80s and you had your c-band system, would you bend over for a 100% price increase on a channel (yes al a carte) or would you say phooey and drop it and buy another???

just my 2cents...

+1 I pay for the Everything package, so all they did was take channels away from me. I didn't get any replacements.

Ok he replaced the channels I have already got on my sub so am I going to get a price cut ?
