If so, couldn't I replace my current diplexer solution with a 6x8 multiswitch (even though I only have 4 receivers), and put diplexers on the end of all the lines to separate the signals?
Sorry... I figured 6x8 signified that, my mistake.dragon002 said:you didnt mention the 5 lnb dish, sorry

What do you do in that situation ?
It's cable, not OTA.dragon002 said:you can use a 6x8 with a phase 3 dish also.
what would I do?? run new coax for the ota that I wouldnt have
There is another switch you can use. It's 5x4 . That one has cable/antenna input . But you have only 4 outputs from that switch .....aec4 said:It's cable, not OTA.
And it's a necessity.
Run new coax from the second floor to the basement.. not so easy.
I thought you had to use the 6x8 if you were using the 5lnb dish.superyurik said:There is another switch you can use. It's 5x4 . That one has cable/antenna input . But you have only 4 outputs from that switch .....
