So what kind of movies or shows will dish have on their vod service?

Pay per views for a dollar more than with the remote- $4.99. At least at first, then they will look into adding up to 100 minutes of other movies and possibly the network news like Abc. At least , what I have read that is what they plan. If all they are going to do is put the same pay per views on the dvr hard drive as on the web site and the ones you can buy with your remote, it will be a total loss. I don't know of anyone who wants to Pay more for the same thing. With the website you can order for a dollar more and get the pay per view to show on every receiver on your account at the same time. Even cable doesn't charge you more to watch the pay per views and vod movies.

i guess it will be kind of interesting to see what dish does with this. i thought they where suppose to tailor the indemand content to what you have a habbit of watching.

Maybe they will charge less over time if they see that the on demand PPV will not fly.
