I just received a new (well, refurbished) 622 to replace a 622 that was spontaneously rebooting (running 448, this isn't the continuous reboot while downloading 449), and last night it did it again.
After a little trial and error I discovered that the receiver would reboot whenever I tried to "send status" from the diagnostics screen. I have 2 622s, one upstairs (RecA) and this one (RecB). RecA is connected to the phone line, and RecB is connected to RecA via DishComm. When I first set this up everything seemed to work fine, but now when I try to do a phone line test on RecB it fails. When I try to send status from RecB the receiver reboots.
Has anyone else noticed this? I'm suspecting that the reciver I replaced was rebooting everytime it tried to dial out (which it would do frequently because it always failed) due to a problem with DishComm. I have ordered a set of phone line extenders but I would rather not screw around if the receiver needs to be replaced again.
