622 Sleep Timer

My wife keeps asking me ... "can't you program that receiver to automatically shut off at a specific time...?" So, here I am ... asking the pros, can this be done...? Does the 622 have a sleep timer function that you can program the system to shut down at a selected time...? She just wants to be able to watch the tube in bed and not worry about falling asleep with the tube staying on all night.

We use the TV's sleep timer. Receiver shuts off during the night, any way.

In the menu, check under preferences for 'Inactivity Standby'.

You don't need for the tuner to shut off. It actually runs all the time, whether on or off. It does no harm being on, other than use a little more electricity, but not that much more on than off.
