I would like to see the movies that you record on tv1 not to be seen by the user on tv2 and vise-versa. Make tv1 user kinda like the administrator with the ability to decide if movies can or cannot be seen by tv2 user and not even the titles. This seems like a must have option especially if you have kid's!

That is what the locks are for. You can set the locks feature on the tv2 tuner and they can't see any show recording that is locked out, like Adult Pornos, nor can they watch the finished recorded show either unless they have the code.
That is exactly what we do with my 5 year old on tv2. We have quiet a few adult movies that show up as Locked event only on tv 2. ON my tv you can access everything just fine.

How about being able to move the PIP box where you want not preset in the middle on the screen. I want to have to all the way to the edge.

My request

When you are 10 minutes into a show and realize you want to record it. You have been watching from the beginning, however, the 622 only lets you "record remainder of this event" I can rewind to the beginning, why can't it record from the beginning?

I miss this from my Tivo.

When you rewind to the beginning - hit record. It will catch all of it.

If you have been on the channel from the beggining, hitting record in the middle of the program provides an option to record the entire show. Just did it last nite.

I would like to see the following features:

1. When using the keyboards like in search mode, allow key selection to wrap both left and right like on the 921. This cuts the maximum distance you have to go to a letter in half. With wrap, going from the far left keys to the far rights keys is only 1 step instead of the full width of the keyboard.

2. Provide bookmarking in a recording with skip forward and back to bookmarks.

I don't know if this has been mentioned but I would like to see a feature that I see in my Comcast HDDVR. Lets suppose that you watch a show and got to it 15 mins late (nothing is in the buffer). You decide that it is worthwhile to watch so you want tot record it in its entirety at at the next future data. If I want to view when it will air next I have to search for it. With Comcast I would just simply press info and then press upcoming times for this event and it would find all future instances. I already could have used this feature a couple of times.

Yeah being a new 622 user I did not know this feature existed. It is as you say but on some instances it will search the previous searched program not the one you just selected. This has happened to me a more than a couple of times.
I would hit # two times. The first one brings the search window with the program I had on the guide already populated but when hitting search again the hits would not macth to what I was searching but to a previous search.

Here's a few more....

On the schedule screen, calculate where the drive will run out of room. Could be a running number that drops as you cursor further into the future.

Idenfity HD/SD in the PVR list.

Make Erased events restorable until they are overwritten (overwrite events in the order they are erased).

Pause buffer could dynamically use available HDD space. Conflicts with above. I guess you'd have to set a max buffer size.

I, too would love a Discrete command to turn captioning on/off.

Here's a few from my Comcast 6412 that I miss a bit:

1. Continuous streaming of live channel, regardless of other activity being performed. (ie if I'm watching a recorded event, the incoming stream is still buffered for up to 15 minutes HD or 1 hr SD.) Allows me to jump to the beginning of the news or other program when I'm done watching a recording.

2. Some option buttons on the info page of a program. Options such as "other times" to view upcoming air times for this program, record, etc.)
