622 Question..

I am in the process of deciding between E* and D* and have a question about the 622. If you have it setup to feed 1 HD and 1 SD TV's when the second tv is not in use will the 622 automatically use the spare tuner to record on the background.

I guess what I am getting at if the second TV output is used is it dedicated to TV2 and can not be used for background recording when it is not in use

The 622 can be setup several different ways and changed quickly. It can do both senerios you asked about. Anything recorded is available for both tv1 and tv2.
