622 Install include phone line

Since, the 622 requires a phone line connection. If I order one from Dish, do they general include installation of the phone line. The location of where my system is would require that they fish the line through several walls.

Second question I live in Souther California. If I order from Dish does anybody currently know the wait time for an installation appointment.

Go ahead and do what i did! Buy an RCA Wireless phone jack off of Ebay- works like a champ.

The phone connection is entirely your responsibility.

as a tech, we do not install phone lines. but you can buy wireless phone jack from dish when you order your 622

And that bit about fishing thru several walls- if they need to install a coax, they'll run it around the house and thru the closest outside wall to the TV. Never mind how ugly that might be. That's why I do all my own wiring.

You can buy them at Best Buy as well.. Just make sure you get the one that says "DBS Compatible" on the front of the package, as a few are strictly for voice service only....
