622 install fiasco

I ordered a VIP622 with Dish 1000 on February 18th. I had to e-mail ceo@dish
to get them to next day air the receiver Thursday the 9th. The install was scheduled for today. Got a call this morning confirming install time. Then, a few moments ago another call saying the installer did not have the DPP 44 switch.
I am rescheduled for March 28th. All I can say is that this is pathetic.

The same thing happened to me. After 30 minutes of arguing with a Dish Network rep I got them ship the DPP 44 Switch directly to me and i had the installer finish the work today. Half was done on Friday the 3rd the rest was finished today. See if you can do the same thing, from my understanding there is a really big shortage on these switches.

It might just be idiot companies just under ordering them. We are having a 625 crisis right now, because even though the company I work for has been in business a coon's age, they still haven't figured out how to keep proper quanties of stuff we actually use on hand.

We have mass quantities of 301s we rarely use. We have over 30 DP adapters (I only have one that I have had on my truck nearly a year already!) But they only order us 625s to last a few days.
