Our cabin in the country is very small, so we are saving space wherever possible. We plan to use our new DELL 2407WFP (1920 x 1200) LCD monitor with both a PowerMac G4 computer (VGA) and Dish HDTV (DVI-D).
Do any of you have a ViP622 attached to a DELL 2407 WFP (or similar) LCD monitor?
If so...
Were there any problems getting the HDMI output from the 622 connected to the DVI-D input on the Dell 2407WFP LCD monitor?
Does it support full 1080i HDTV on the Dish HD channels? Particularly any ones that use HDCP encryption?
Would it be better to hook up the 622 via component cables? And does this set up support 1080i?
BTW our install of both Wild Blue Internet and Dish HD is supposed to happen Monday. I'd just like to be prepared
