622 and photo viewing

If you choose to view photos from a digital camera on the 622, when you 'transfer' to the 622, do the photos get deleted from the memory card in the camera? or do they also stay on the memory card?

There not deleted. The result is however not the best. I don't know what they are displaying the picture as but it seems low-def.

I end up using my PS3 instead, which even allows me to display pictures that actually reside on other devices such as my PC or Laptop.
