612 Stuck Acquiring Signal

I have a VIP612 that won't get a signal.

It worked fine yesterday.

I unplugged and plugged back in and still got the same "acquiring signal" error.

Completed check switch and it said that fewer satellites were detected than previously.

Any suggestions on what I should do next?

How many receivers do you have? If more than one try swapping locations. Beyond that purchase the protection plan if you don't already have it and get a $15 service call.

I agree with boba, if you have another receiver I would switch locations. If you do not, just send me a PM and we can get a tech setup.
