OK. I have an old 2700 and an old dish (20" with one dual LNB)
I want to add HDTV.
I see Future Shop has the 6100 for $299 (unit only) and the 6120 for $269 (unit and dish). Both Bell's site and FS says 6120 for "new subscribers only".

Bell site suggests I need to call and get a satellite upgrade kit to convert my dish to two-satellite system (which really means replace everything) The problem is, the kit will not come to my "real" address and I would prefer to avoid shipping costs and customs etc to get it.

I will be in Canada shortly and want to bring what I need back with me.
So, can I buy a 6120 from FS and use my existing account? Or do I need to cancel the old one and start a new one? If so, do I need to find another Canadaian friend's address? Will I be able to re-register the 2700?

Thanks for the answers.
