They should be, it was only the 6000 that they stopped I believe. The 6100 is 8PSK capable so there is no reason why they shouldn't activate it for you.

Yes you can see HD with it, Bell has no plans to migrate to MPEG4 anytime soon, if ever. They now have 5 HD channels on some MPEG2/8PSK transponders.

Bell are still SELLING 6100's so yes, no problem activating them.

As for MPEG4, there will be an announcement very early in 2011. It is coming.

Yes, that is why I said they have no plans for MPEG4 implementaion anytime soon. Just think if they did go to MPEG4 they could maybe get away with 10 HD channels on a TP! :yikes lol

ahhh thats what it is...they're still using MPEG2 while Dish went to MPEG4.
