Out here somewhere
Sorry to post here but I don't see a 6000U forum (old equip i guess) but figure someone with a 811 probably had a 6000U.
My question is: Will the 6000u work with Dishpro hardware?
I had my 6000U hooked up to legacy LNBFs and SW21s prior but lent the unit to my son for the past 10 months. During that timeframe I upgraded to DP LNBF and a DP34 switch for my 921. I now have the unit back and trying to figure out whether to hook it up or sell it depending on the answer.

Again I apologize for the thread in this forum.. Thanks, Gerry

Thanks- Kevin

Gerry, Welcome to SatelliteGuys.

The 6000 would need a dish pro adapter to work with you new setup.

Kevin, thanks for the quick response! Somewhere in the back of this old brain I thought I had remembered something about that but it just wouldn't surface :D . Gerry

6000 and dishpro

I had this issue with my 6000 it would not work with dishpro. After two weeks and two service calls, they sent me an 811. They finally admitted that there were "issues" with the 6000 and the superdish, even with a dishpro adapter.
