they most likely wont be added till the morning like most channels are sometimes it is immediatley or could be overnight. i checked for the viacom channels and they are not there.the uplink report says that they are turned on?

All that is is guide data. I think Dish has found a way to allow for guide data if you are getting these stations OTA. As it is, they are not available yet.

Looks like a deal may be near for Tribune... and it says that the MTV and BET channels are now available... but I am not getting them... and where is BBC World News which is supposed to launch today?

I think Dish has found a way to allow for guide data if you are getting these stations OTA.

Yeap, I agree with that. This is OTA guide data only. Note the channel numbers - 5 digit designations. Locals are in the 5000-6000 or so range (before they are mapped down to their familiar spots).

Guide data for the OTA channels is great. I would love to see the satellite delivered channels back as well but this is a good start.

On the other site, the channels when added last week were tagged with something about "EPG linked to 119*". I don't remember seeing that before, unless it's something their software has recently started deciphering. Is anyone on the western arc seeing the new channels?

In other arc shenanigans, I notice that my local Sinclair station's EPG is only on the western arc. I didn't know anyone still received it from the western arc, since years ago they finally got around to putting it on a spotbeam on eastern arc that actually covered the whole DMA instead of the New York City spotbeam that only covered the parts of the DMA that were close enough to the transmitter to get it OTA anyway...)

I wonder if the new Viacom channels will be in AT250? I assume they will since they have moved several channels out of that tier into AT200 and AT120 which is good, but I figure they'll add these to AT250 only to have some more perceived "value" in it.

I have 110, 118, 119, and 129. Nothing here.

Yes the correct guide data is showing up on my OTA Tribune stations. I have a feeling that means the stations ARENT coming back soon but at least you can set your DVR's easier. Hope im wrong though.
