522 guide no locals

522 only 2 days on EPG

I hooked up my 522 3 days ago and when I look at my guide it only shows 2 days of epg.... Whats the deal?

Be patient it will eventually show up, although it might take a couple of days.
Mine showed up two days after I installed my 522.

You can force an update of the guide by doing a Check Switch. Can't tell you how to get to it off the top of my head but it's from the screen that shows the signal levels.

I know that on the nonDVR receivers such as the 111, 301, 311 receivers take a little bit for the locals to show up below 100 but shows up in the four digit numbers section of the EPG first. I didnt remember it taking that long on my 522. I think they showed up on mine right away.

This is interesting: http://www.vssll.com/dvr942.html says the 942 can't output live TV to TV #2. But it'll record three things at once, wow.

I think I'll stick with my 522 for now.

Just to clear things up. That's live OTA that cannot be output on TV2.
